Your Responsibilities as the Outside Sales Representative (OSR)
As a Glass Doctor Home + Business of Greensboro OSR, you are a vital part of our team. You will be the person who seeks out top-notch customers while showing off your solid sales management skills. In this consultative role, you aren’t just selling glass; you are a "Customer Hero" providing peace of mind. Whether designing custom shower enclosures for homeowners or developing "turnkey" glass solutions for commercial facilities, you are the decisive force that helps our customers move forward safely. Here’s what you’ll do:
- Compile a list of prospective customers gathered from: internet websites, business directories, and local groups (e.g., BNI, Chamber of Commerce, Builders Associations, etc.).
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to prospect for new business and continue to grow sales with the current customer base.
- Be prepared to discuss in detail the features and benefits of Glass Doctor’s services.
- Utilize Glass Doctor’s literature, brochures, or flyers when appropriate.
- Enter all pertinent information in our CRM to maintain a record of your prospects, existing customers, and your activities.
- Participate in setting up and selling at Trade Shows.
- Promptly respond to lead requests to secure opportunities.
- Maintain open lines of communication with ownership and management.

Education and Experience:
- Minimum of high school diploma; college degree preferred.
- 2+ years of related sales experience and/or training.
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to be insurable with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Professional appearance and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
