Glass Installer / Glazier – Experienced

Glass Doctor of Charleston & Summerville is hiring an experienced Glass Installer/Glazier to join our team.

We are looking for someone who already knows their way around the glass business and can perform quality installations without needing to be taught the basics.

Our work includes residential and light commercial glass throughout the Charleston area. If you have experience installing insulated glass, window glass, mirrors, shower enclosures, patio door glass, tempered glass, and other residential/commercial glass products, we'd like to talk to you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Remove and replace broken and fogged insulated glass units
• Install residential window and door glass
• Install tempered and laminated glass
• Install mirrors and shower enclosures
• Perform light commercial/storefront glass work
• Properly glaze and seal completed installations
• Load and transport glass safely
• Verify measurements and materials before beginning installation
• Take required job photos and document completed work in ServiceTitan
• Communicate with customers professionally
• Keep company vehicle, tools and work area organized
• Work with our sales and office teams to make sure jobs are completed correctly the first time

What We're Looking For

Glass experience is strongly preferred.

We're especially interested in someone with experience in:

• Insulated glass units (IGs)
• Residential window glass
• Patio and entry door glass
• Tempered and laminated glass
• Mirrors
• Frameless and framed shower enclosures
• Storefront/commercial glass
• Wet glazing and standard glazing systems

You should also:

• Have a valid driver's license and good driving record
• Be comfortable working from ladders and handling large/heavy glass
• Be dependable and show up when you're supposed to
• Pay attention to details
• Take pride in the quality of your work
• Be comfortable using a tablet/mobile device for job information and documentation
• Be able to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
