Fabricator

Glass Doctor of North Texas is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Fabricator to join our team. This is a hands-on position responsible for fabricating and preparing glass and related materials to ensure our field teams have accurate, high-quality products ready for installation.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works well in a fast-paced shop environment, and understands that quality and accuracy matter.

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 7:30 AM until the job is complete, typically between 4:30 PM–6:00 PM

Rotating Saturdays

Pay $18.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What You'll Do

  • Fabricate, cut, prepare, and assemble glass and related materials according to job specifications
  • Read and follow measurements, work orders, and fabrication instructions accurately
  • Operate shop tools, machinery, and equipment safely
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and defects
  • Prepare completed materials for delivery and installation
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
  • Properly handle and store glass to minimize damage and waste
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed
  • Communicate with team members when measurements, materials, or job specifications appear incorrect
  • Follow all company safety procedures and equipment requirements
  • Help the shop team wherever needed to ensure jobs are completed accurately and on time

What We're Looking For

  • Previous fabrication, glass, construction, manufacturing, or shop experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work from precise measurements
  • Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
  • Ability to work in a physically active environment and safely lift and move materials
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently while also being part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and getting the job done right
